Gehlot govt. to offer grants to farmers for harm as a result of hailstorm, frost

The Revenue Department has obtained experiences of rabi crops being destroyed in Kota, Alwar, Bundi and Nagaur districts between January 2 and 4.

On the directions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the administration will disburse agricultural grants to the farmers whose 33% or extra crops have been broken.

Principal Secretary (Revenue & Disaster Management) Anand Kumar mentioned right here on Saturday that mild to reasonable rain and hailstorm had been anticipated at remoted locations in Kota and Bharatpur districts and in Jaipur division through the subsequent couple of days. He requested the farmers to take essential precautions to guard their rabi crops.
